What to Expect at First Cedar Creek Baptist Church

When you gather with us, you can expect biblical worship that is simple, reverent, and centered on Christ. Our service is built around the reading and preaching of God’s Word, prayer, and the singing of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.

We believe that the local church exists for the glory of God and the good of His people, so everything we do points to Him. Families grow together, the Gospel is proclaimed, and Christ is exalted.

We are glad to welcome you, not with gimmicks or entertainment, but with the joy of gathering as God’s people around His Word.

What is the Worship Like?

We sing traditional hymns and focus on Christ-centered worship. You’ll also hear biblical, expository preaching that applies God’s Word to everyday life.

What Should I Wear?

Come as you are! Some people dress casually, while others wear their Sunday best. Whether you wear jeans or a suit, you’re welcome here.

What About My Kids?

We love families, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to minister to children of all ages. At First Cedar Creek, we want every family to feel welcome and every child to have an opportunity to learn about God and grow in faith.

• Kids’ Class (9:45 AM): During our Sunday morning discipleship groups (Sunday School), children enjoy an age-appropriate Bible lesson designed to help them learn, grow, and engage with Scripture.

• Youth Group (9:45 AM): Students gather during discipleship groups (Sunday School) for biblical teaching, meaningful fellowship, and encouragement as they grow in their faith.

• Nursery (11 AM): A safe and welcoming nursery is available for infants and toddlers during Sunday worship.

• Children’s Church (11 AM): Children experience an engaging, age-appropriate biblical lesson during Sunday worship.
